Let’s face it – to-go packaging has extremely damaging impact on our environment.
It doesn’t only require huge amount of resources to be produced, ironically – just for very single use, but it also creates pretty heavy waste problem.

Small product, big needs

Production of 1 disposable cup requires 0.58 liters of water and has a carbon footprint of up to 60.9 grams of CO².

Waste problem

Single-use gastronomy packaging in Norway generates over 6.240 tons of waste per year*. Disposable paper cups contain plastic and composting them takes over 20 years.

Climate irresponsibility

We use 500 billion single-use cups per year globally, which results in:

290 billion liters of water used
30 million tons of CO² carbon footprint
206 million trees being cut

Luckily, in GreenCup we have the solution

GreenCup is an innovative take-away system of reusable packaging based on renting system. It is a sustainable solution for the gastronomy business and a responsible consumption alternative for everyone to enjoy their to-go drinks without a single-use waste.

In the name of ReFill, ReUse and ReCycle

Each Green Cup can be used up to 1000 times during one cycle. Moreover it can be recycled up to 10 times, which means it can save up to 10000 single-use cups.
